Purchaser
R.W. Tomlinson Limited is currently seeking a Purchaser to join our growing team. This position supports the supply of materials, inventory management, and distribution of products across our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and inventory control of parts for vehicle and heavy equipment repair facilities, ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Processing, monitoring, and/or analysis of materials or finished goods from incoming to distributionAnalyzing and reporting consumption trendsProcessing purchasing or sales orders and shipping requests Storage of finished goodsLoading/unloading and verification of incoming or outgoing shipments or inventory transfersInspection for damage of materials or finished goods, sorting and delivering incoming shipments inventory countsInventory reportingResponsible for credit returns
REQUIREMENTS: Generally requires a High School Diploma and 3-5 years relevant experience, or equivalent. A college certificate relevant to the field is considered an asset Strong computer skills SAP experience is considered an asset Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills and attention to detail is an assetWORKING CONDITIONS:Working in an industrial office environment Work environment can be loud Workload is high volume and very fast paced COMPENSATION INFORMATION:The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
