Role Overview:

This role offers hands-on exposure to purchasing operations, supplier coordination, and supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  Understand and support the local purchase process
• 
  Prepare and maintain documentation for local purchases
• 
  Perform system transactions related to procurement activities
• 
  Assist in negotiating terms with local suppliers
• 
  Procure materials required to support the manufacturing schedule in a timely manner
• 
  Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of goods
• 
  Support vendor identification and evaluation processes
• 
  Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and agencies
• 
  Liaise with vendor management to source materials cost-effectively

Preferred Qualifications/Experiences:

• 
  Final-year student pursuing a degree in Engineering (preferred)
• 
  Strong communication and negotiation skills
• 
  Good organizational and coordination abilities
• 
  Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes is an advantage
