Qualifications
1. BE Mechanical
2. Experience in Global Procurement of heavy equipment and spare parts
3. Awareness of Global Heave equipment market and the market pricing
4. Experience in Quality Control (at least 3 years) (optional)
5. Experience in Ground Engaging Tools (GET) (at least 3 years) (optional)
6. Experience in Undercarriage Parts (at least 3 years) (optional)
7. Overall work experience 5 years+
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with vendors for prices, availability and lead time of products
2. Negotiate payment terms and conditions and discounts
3. Coordinate with sales team for upcoming requirements
4. Review Vendor bills and authorize them for payments
5. Developing new global suppliers for heavy machine equipment spare parts like Cummins, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, MTU, Atlas Copco, Liebherr, Epiroc, Sandvik etc
6. Preparing purchase orders as per the vendor price list and orders received
7. Coordination with vendors and shipping companies for timely dispatch of purchase order
8. Ensuring that orders are arranged in the time frame committed to the customer
9. Preparing reports ie. Order tracker etc.
10. Negotiating & co-coordinating with shipping companies
11. Finalizing and checking import documentation and processing insurance for the import shipments
