Pupil Support Assistant (PSA): HHS Track & Field

Position Purpose

PSA will assist in maximizing the learning experience of children with special needs during their participation with High School Track & Field

Hours:

  • Approximately two hours per day, Monday through Saturday and meets if student participates
  • Position begins 9/3/2026 - 10/21/2026

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist lead staff in providing behavior reinforcement and managing student's needs while at Track & Field practices and events
  • Assist and support interpersonal skills and activities, daily living needs and social/emotional needs for student
  • Ability to be flexible with schedules.
  • Supervising and assisting student during arrival/departure from Track & Field practices and events

Qualifications:

  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
  • at least two years of qualifying college credits (usually 60 credits in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education, or;
  • an associates or higher degree, with qualifying course work, or;
  • a passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment.
  • Ability to follow program direction as provided by program coordinador.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight and support students with activities of daily living
  • Ability to demonstrate prompt, regular and reliable attendance
