Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is running a drop hammer or vibratory post pounder, for the installation of guardrail
• Responsible for driving the Punch Truck to/from work sites
• Responsible for supporting the layout, set-up of guardrail installation and working closely with the foreman and crew to ensure efficient work progress
• Loading and unloading materials in support of the daily work
• On occasion engaging in the use of power tools and manual digging when conditions are not conducive to use of the Punch Truck

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or the ability to obtain certification within the first 2 months of employment
• 2-5 Years of Heavy Equipment operation
• 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Strong understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanic experience on hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
• Prior experience with Guardrail Installation
• Heavy Highway construction experience.

Compensation: $31 - $36/hr
