Job Overview:
We are seeking a Punch List Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Punch List Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all punch list activities for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain punch lists for all ongoing construction projects
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of punch list items
- Conduct regular site visits to identify and document punch list items
- Communicate punch list updates and progress to project managers and clients
- Review and approve subcontractor punch list submissions
- Ensure all punch list items are completed to company and client standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of punch list activities
- Assist in the preparation of project closeout documents
- Identify and report any potential issues or delays related to punch list items
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement efficient punch list processes
- Train and mentor junior punch list coordinators as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in punch list coordination or a related role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
