NOW HIRING: SHOP PUMP MECHANIC
We're hiring a Shop Pump Mechanic to join our team in Houston, TX. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pumps and rotating equipment in a shop environment. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild pumps and related equipment
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble mechanical components
Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure equipment operates efficiently
Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend repairs or replacements
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Assist with additional shop duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Previous mechanical, pump repair, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Ability to read basic technical drawings or repair manuals preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
