Job Description

Bemana is searching for a Pump Mechanic to join a growing industrial distributor and service center specializing in electric motors, VFDs, pumps, and controls in Buda, TX. This role focuses on troubleshooting, disassembly, inspection, and repairing all mechanical aspects of Water and Wastewater Pumps including Submersible Sewage, Vertical Turbine, and centrifugal pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be able to disassemble and reassemble various types of Pumps. Specializing in Submersible Sewage Pumps
• Knowledge of tolerances for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections and testing.
• Knowledge of operating lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report all unsafe activity
• Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Pump repair experience.

• Experience with the use of a computer

• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-starter and self-reliant
• Leadership experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
