Pullet Crew

The Pullet Crew team member is responsible for catching and vaccinating chickens.

Essentials Functions and Responsibilities:

• Catch and pick up live chickens and load them into steel cages.
• Catch and pick up live chickens and present them to the vaccinator to be vaccinated.
• Comply with written company policies.
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with company GMP and biosecurity policies.
• Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or live management official.
• Administer vaccinations in appropriate locations in accordance with Peco policy.

Physical Demands:

• Standing / walking 100% of the workday.
• Lifting live birds that weight between 4.0-7.0 pounds on average.
• Dusty/warm work environment inside the chicken houses.
• Performing repetitive motion.
• Being able to work in a mostly outdoor environment.
