Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
Spearhead Brand Alliances: Identify, negotiate, and cultivate long-term partnerships with top-tier local brands to acquire new players and elevate the MLBB brand presence.
Develop Exchange Models: Create innovative resource-exchange models with partners to maximize target audience reach and enhance local market influence.
Stakeholder Management: Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders—including school administrators, student organizations, and government bodies—to secure support, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate legal or reputational risks.
Grassroots & Ecosystem Expansion
Drive Local Publishing: Architect and execute scalable local esports and publishing programs designed to accelerate user growth, with a strong focus on educational institutions (primary schools, high schools, and universities).
Community Penetration: Strategize and implement grassroots ecosystem programs (e.g., barangay-level penetration) to drive MLBB adoption among young, high-potential users.
Resource Utilization: Explore and leverage resources from government or educational departments to amplify grassroots campaigns and institutional adoption.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
Lead and Inspire: Direct the growth of the local Philippine team, actively developing their capabilities and fostering a high-performance culture.
Market Strategy: Formulate overarching market strategies that align business goals with local consumer insights and available resources.
Process & Performance Management: Define, track, and analyze KPIs for all initiatives. Establish robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (Central, Esports, etc.) and external partners (agencies, local government units) to guarantee positive business outcomes.QualificationsRequirements
Experience: 8+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to business development, strategic partnerships, or building scalable marketing programs. Experience in fast-paced industries (tech, gaming, or FMCG) is highly preferred.
Networking & Sourcing: A natural relationship builder with a proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and securing impactful brand alliances. Existing networks with top local brands, gaming entities, and relevant government departments are highly desirable.
Leadership: A minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience, coupled with strong vendor and partner management expertise.
Strategic Execution: A strategic thinker capable of designing, implementing, and rigorously tracking scalable, data-driven marketing programs.
Industry Passion: A genuine passion for gaming and a strong understanding of MLBB. Prior professional experience within the gaming and esports industry is a significant advantage.
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Tagalog. Mandarin proficiency is a distinct advantage.
