Guru Juara Moonton is an initiative targeted to teachers to train them on capabilities with digital game management skills based on a STEM-learning approach. In 2025, the pilot program is rolled out throughout Selangor and benefitted over 100+ schools, teachers and students.
For 2026 and beyond, the key goals of the program is on expansion to reach a wider audience, and program improvement/upscaling in order to provide more value to the audience.
Responsibilities:
Education Ecosystem Planning & Execution
- Lead the ideation, planning and execution of scalable, repeatable marketing activities within the education ecosystem, with a strong focus on the younger generation.
- Translate marketing objectives into structured project plans, including timeline, milestone, resource allocation, vendor & partner management and risk management.
- Own the Guru Juara project budget, ensure disciplined cost control and able to justify marketing spend through achieving of key metrics (school penetration rate, audience participation, acquisition, etc).
- Act as the point of accountability for assigned programs, ensuring momentum, challenge resolution & on-time delivery across all stakeholders - You will be required to search for creative solutions & navigate the complex landscape of the business to deliver results.
Internal & External Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams which includes existing or new vendors, agencies, consultants and part-timers to ensure delivery of campaign, within the required scope.
- Lead the development of MLBB's campus marketing initiative by enabling school-led execution models, ensuring programs are practical, compliant and easily adopted within school environments which supporting defined learning outcomes.
- Build, nurture and maintain strong working relationship with school administrators, education ministries, agencies and authorities to ensure smooth execution of all initiatives while ensuring adherence to required regulations and policies.
- Manage licensing, permit application and approval processes at all levels for the execution of marketing activities - you will need to be skilled & creative in managing expectations, timeline and deliverables of multiple stakeholders (internal & external) throughout the year independently.
Marketing Communications & Public Relations
- Craft compelling narrative for marketing programs, activations and promotions, translating campaign objectives into messages that drive awareness, participation and measureable outcomes across releant channels (i.e. Press, Social, On-Ground).
- Define and track marketing KPIs, analysing performance and preparation of post-campaign reports with strong insights and recommendations for further optimisation & scale. QualificationsRequirements:
- We are looking for young and energetic candidates, ideally with a strong interest in the education space (proven track record working within the education industry is a major plus)
- Minimum 5 years working experience with proven track record of Project Management, Marketing Communications and Partner/Stakeholder Management (Bonus if within FMCG, Tech or Gaming/Esports industry).
- Excellent communicator and mediator. To have the ability to understand high-level unique marketing programs, and is able to explain complex concepts to stakeholders of different backgrounds.
- Proactive and independent, as the role will require candidates to be actively driving progress & actionable items with various parties (consultants, vendors, agencies & government bodies).
- Passion for MLBB/Gaming/Youth is required; prior experience in esports and/or understanding of league operations structure is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken); Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
