The City of Long Lake is seeking applicants for a Public Works Lead Maintenance Worker. This position provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship for the City’s team Maintenance Workers; trains new hires; performs manual work in construction, operations, maintenance, and repair of City infrastructure and facilities; performs a variety of maintenance tasks pertaining to Public Works operations and services; participates in assigning work detail to employees; and reports to the Public Works Director and City Administrator. Minimum qualifications include 5 years’ progressively responsible municipal Public Works experience including water/wastewater fields, a current Class C or D drinking water treatment license issued by the MDH, an SD sanitary sewer collections license issued by the MPCA, and a valid Class B Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes.
