Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider for government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and public institutions?

Amazon Web Services continue expanding its presence in Public Sector market, and Amazon offers a creative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation.

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to help us build and scale the Public Sector engagement in Argentina, covering government (national, provincial, and municipal), state-owned enterprises, education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in this vertical with a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. S/he should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in the Argentine Public Sector territory by meeting or exceeding targets across government, state-owned enterprises, education, and healthcare verticals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan, including accurate forecasting and a robust sales pipeline.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to public sector needs, accelerating customer adoption by working backwards from customer challenges.
- Manage contract negotiations and public procurement processes while developing long-term strategic relationships at the C-suite and ministerial level.
- Work with ISV partners, consulting partners, system integrators, Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, drive expansion within existing accounts, and represent AWS at industry events, conferences, and government forums in Argentina and the region.

Basic Qualifications


- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
- Direct field experience in working with government accounts within Public Sector Argentina.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with government procurement and contracting process
- Experience in regulatory frameworks and policy analysis methodologies
- Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, or digital transformation initiatives in the public sector.
