Job Description

NextShinning is seeking a confident and highly motivated Public Relations Specialist to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama.

In this role, you will help strengthen the company's public image, support communication initiatives, build positive relationships with key audiences, and assist in coordinating campaigns, events, and brand-related activities.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, personable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can evolve quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of public relations and communication strategies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, community members, and other key audiences.
• Assist with the preparation of company communications, presentations, announcements, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate public relations activities, campaigns, meetings, and events.
• Represent the company professionally during client interactions, events, and community initiatives.
• Help maintain consistent brand messaging across communication materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support company initiatives and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and public engagement.
• Monitor communication initiatives and provide feedback on performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain organized records, schedules, and communication materials related to public relations activities.
