Your role You will be based at site to manage all public relations and site activities relating to the project, which includes the following responsibilities:
Community Relations Develop and execute plan to promote good community relations Develop and prepare letters, notices and newsletters to keep the community and residents informed of key project milestones and developments that impact them Organise events such as exhibitions to increase public awareness and community engagement Work closely with Project Team and initiate proactive measures to mitigate complaints Anticipate community concerns and issues, and develop appropriate responses and activities to address them Manage feedback, suggestions and complaints and follow up with remedial action Organise outreach activities and events for the community
Stakeholder Management Liaise with Government agencies, grassroots organisations, town councils and private residential management councils Prepare updates and respond to clientâs requests for information about project status Organise VIP visits and briefings, site functions and events
General Oversee all the day-to-day office administrative functions at the Site Office and report to the Head of the Project. Provide administrative support and assistance to Project Management team Prepare and submit reports pertaining to public relations activities Draft correspondence, prepare meeting minutes, filing and data entry where required Manage residentsâ feedback, suggestions and complaints and follow up with remedial action The Requirements Possess a Degree in Public Relations/Communications Studies or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience working in a public-facing role Prior experience working in the construction sector would be an asset Self-motivated, responsible, independent and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
