The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Public Leadership and Admnistration Graduate Adjunct Instructor for the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching on the UNT Dallas campus and to assist in further development of the Public Leadership and Administration Graduate Program. Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours on campus. The successful applicant will be expected to provide quality instruction in graduate Public Leadership and Administration courses matching the instructor’s background, education, and skills base. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of graduate level face-to-face, hybrid and online courses focused on pubic administration, including, but not limited to, Data Analytics and Research Methods, Public Service & Society, Performance Measurement & Monitoring, Intergovernmental Relations, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Leadership, Leading and Managing Pubic Organizations, and Public Private Partnerships.
Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Public Leadership program and will be required to be on campus for face-to-face and hybrid courses, as well as office hours. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include in their courses certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria.
