Birmingham is a young city, but it is also home to a rapidly growing and diverse older population. Ensuring people can age well, remain independent, and stay connected to their communities is one of our key public health priorities.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Public Health Officer to join our Ageing Well and Workplace Health team and play a leading role in delivering Birmingham’s Ageing Well Strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to lead programmes that support healthier ageing across the city while also developing Birmingham’s Compassionate Cities and Dying Well programme, helping to build stronger community support for people approaching the end of life and those experiencing grief and bereavement.
