Commissioning and Service Development Manager | 10533 | Permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £50,166 to £54,277 per annum | Grade L | Norwich - hybrid

Norfolk County Council Public Health Children and Young People's Team have a vacancy for a Commissioning and Service Development Manager.

In this role, you will be the responsible lead for the commissioning and service development of the Norfolk Healthy Child Programme and all related commissioned services.

You will need to be an experienced service commissioner in related fields, have strong partnership working and engagement skills and be able to demonstrate how you have identified and driven forward service developments and improvements with providers and partners.

The Norfolk Healthy Child Programme is embedded within Norfolk's approach to Best Start Family Hubs and School Zone approach and you will need to work with existing and future service providers to ensure delivery is embedded within integrated approaches both at a place and strategic level.

You must have a clear understanding of health inequalities and their impacts on health and wellbeing and be committed to supporting improvements in children and young people's outcomes in Norfolk.

The post has a countywide remit, with the main office base being County Hall in Norwich. You will need to be able to travel across Norfolk and will be expected to regularly attend team meetings, as well as provider and wider partnership meetings, in person.
