Under general direction, performs work of considerable and unusual difficulty in planning and directing the administration of guardianships, conservatorships and probates, consistent with federal and state laws to include minors, incapacitated and protected persons appointed by the courts; performs related work as assigned(Essential function, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. · Receives, sorts, indexes, types, files and retrieves forms, correspondence, and documents.
· Compiles reports and summaries of work.
· Checks and completes records, forms and documents.
· Receives and distributes correspondence
· Operates a variety of office equipment.
· Compiles required reports.
· Maintains records, files and record retention schedules
· Assists other administrative support duties as needed.
· Assists with the budgeting process for Payee status wards.
· Assists with Public Auctions
· Assists with special projects as assigned
· Prepares documents, documentation, photograph and case charting for wards records, for full control of assets and services
· Assists with securing and manage real and personal property of all Probate, Guardianship and Conservatorship cases; which may include securing titles and insurance coverage; conducts photo, written, computer inventory; catalogs, labels, tags, packages, stores personal property; for full control of assets and services; under a variety of environmental conditions which may include unpleasant sights and smells or adverse weather conditions.

Statutory requirements from A.R.S. § 14-5651 At least twenty-one years of age; high School diploma or GED; US Citizen; No felony conviction-documented by fingerprint/background check; attest to no civil liability involving fraud, misrepresentation, material omission, misappropriation, theft or conversion on the application; consent to jurisdiction of the court.
Acceptable Experience and Training as defined in ACJA 7-202 Any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent -High School diploma/GED; AND one year general clerical experience; BA/BS and 1 year experience; or Associated Degree/High School diploma/GED and paralegal certificate from accredited program and 2 years’ experience; or High School diploma/GED and certificate from specifically accredited fiduciary program and 2 years’ experience; or High School diploma/GED and 2 years’ experience under the supervision of a bank trust or trust company officer; or High School diploma/GED and 2 years’ or under the supervision of a licensed attorney whose major emphasis is in the area of probate, trust, elder, mental health, or disability law.
Applicant must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License. This position is a temporary position preparing and training purposes for advancement within the department. If licensure is pursued, must be able to pass a criminal history investigation, financial background check to obtain Arizona Supreme Court Fiduciary License within minimum allotted time of 18-36 months after full time hire.This position is exempt from over-time.
