Whatyou’llachieve

As a Public Cloud Security Engineer, you will design andimplement technologiesfor enforcementof security controls acrossDell’spublic cloud infrastructureThis will include consultation with application owners, IT, business units, and other teams within Dell Cybersecurity to enhance security controls and detections for publiccloud-based workloads.You will also work incollaborativeteam environmentutilizingAgile development methodologies, mentoring teammates, and learning cross-functional skills to support a range of technologies as aproduct offering.

You will:

• Design, develop, implement, andmaintainlarge-scale systems acrossmultiple cloud environments 

• Leverage scripting,automationand configuration management tools to accelerate the secure adoption of public cloud withinDell Technologies 

• Work with global teams and business units to understand the behavior, design, and architecture of applications and network infrastructure to develop and deployadequate controls

Essential Requirements

• 7+ years of professionalexperience securingoradministering large enterprise publiccloudenvironments (OCI,AWS,Azure, GCP)

• Hands on experience in Managed Kubernetes clusters (AWS, GCP, Azure), Helm charts

• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, guardrails)

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Networking technologies (VPC,DirectConnect, Transit Gateways)

• Expertisein Python,YAML,PowerShell,RESTAPI, orother scripting languages

Desirable Requirements

• Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) experience

• Cloud Security Certification(s) – e.g.,OCA, OCP,CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500,SC-300,Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
