Job Description

[What the role is]

You will be part of the dynamic team under PUB’s Building Plan Division, Centralised Services Department, that reviews plan submissions for proposed developments so as to safeguard water resources, public health and against flood risks.

[What you will be working on]

Your main roles and responsibilities include:

  • Review and process submissions made by Qualified Persons / Licence Plumbers for sanitary, sewerage, drainage and water service installation works in accordance with PUB’s Code of Practice and relevant Singapore Standards; and

  • Handle consultations and provide advice on PUB’s guidelines and submission requirements.

  • Manage public’s enquiries and feedback (e.g. telephone/ email) in relation to plan submissions.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering.
    Good verbal and written communication skills. Meticulous and attentive to details.

  • Able to work independently and in a team effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Preferably with knowledge in computer application software such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and/or DWG software (e.g. Autodesk Design Review, Autodesk DWG TrueView, Bentley View).
