This is a part time, 20 hour position. Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and availability of candidate. Willing to accommodate a flexible schedule. Rehab gym is open M-F, 7:30a-5p, and rotating Weekends.

Pay Range

$19.80 - $29.70

The Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Sticht Center is seeking a full time Physical and Occupational Therapy Technician to join the dynamic team. Qualified applicants must possess a strong attention to detail, excellent team and patient communication skills, flexibility, organization and time management skills. Candidates must have previous training with Microsoft Office applications and be able to work in a fast paced rehabilitation environment. This role is responsible for multidisciplinary scheduling for the inpatient rehab therapy team, various administrative tasks, as well as hands-on patient care. EPIC experience and scheduling experience are strongly preferred but not required.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One-year experience with patients preferred.
  • Two years college with classes in anatomy, exercise physiology or health and sports science preferred.
  • CPR Certification.

What You'll Do:

  • Assists with patient care treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist to meet the goals and needs of the patient.
  • Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines.
  • Communicates in a professional manner with patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Performs various administrative, inventory, and organizational duties to meet the needs of the department.
  • Promotes professional growth and provides community education and/or committee representation.
  • Maintains safe and clean treatment areas.
