Your Job Duties include:
As Independent Living Resident Services Front Desk Receptionist, you are the person who will act as the face of the company and create that lasting first impression. This is first and foremost a hospitality position. You are greeting guest and connecting them with the right staff or resident, managing visitor traffic, answering and directing phone calls, and enforcing protocols and policies to ensure the safety of our residents. Maintaining resident logs and work request, accepting and routing deliveries, arrange reservations for guest room stays and creating daily reports of events which transpired during your shift. Must be able to handle emergency situations quickly and calmly and with great dignity for the resident. Must be able to walk several miles during the shift for security purposes, you will be sitting anywhere from 50% to 70% of the shift and be able lift up to 25lbs.
The Resident Services team plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the quality of life for residents in Dallas Retirement Village Independent Living. This position serves as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, while providing essential communication, safety oversight, and administrative support. Resident Services staff foster a calm, respectful, and engaging environment that promotes resident dignity, security, and community connection

Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of experience working in hospitality & with the senior population preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks or projects.
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with residents, families, staff, community resources, visitors, and the public.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to superior hospitality and service.
- Ability to project cheerfulness and enthusiasm, maintain a positive attitude, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance in compliance with facility dress codes.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer, telephone, and office equipment skills required.

- Ability to encourage engagement and enthusiasm for Independent Living programs and daily activities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
