JOB OBJECTIVE: The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) Wellness Unit is seeking a qualified retired LRPD officer to serve as a Part-Time Wellness Unit Peer Support Liaison. This unique role supports the department's wellness mission by utilizing the experience, trust, and insight of a retired peer support team member. The selected individual will assist in enhancing wellness resources, supporting active officers, and providing mentorship rooted in first-hand law enforcement experience.

Qualifications
- Must be a retired officer from the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD)
- Must be willing to take LRPD's "Power in Peer" Training course
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- High degree of trust, integrity, and professionalism
- Understanding of mental health, trauma, and law enforcement stressors
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
- Subject to background review consistent with city employment standards
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in peer support, crisis response, or mental health first aid.
- Experience mentoring officers or facilitating wellness workshops.
- Familiarity with City of Little Rock and LRPD wellness-related resources
