Kingsway Senior Living in Belle Plaine is seeking Home Health Aides to join our team!  We are looking for individuals who care and truly want to make a difference in our residents' lives.  *Previous experience in a skilled nursing home or assisted living community is preferred, but not required.*
Shifts:
Casual On Call employees are able to pick up available shifts when it works for their schedule.  The requirements for Casual on Call employee are as follows;
- Minimum 24 hours per month (with at least one (8) hour shift being a weekend shift each month)
- AM Shift:  6:00 am - 2:00pm, PM Shift:  2:00pm - 10:00pm  Overnight Shift:  10:00pm - 6:00am
- Holiday Rotation (must select 2 holidays per year)
Pay:
- $15.61/hr - $19.64/hr  (Starting pay based on relevant years of experience)
- Evening & Overnight Shift Differentials (Additional $1/hour)
- Weekend Shift Differential (Additional $1/hour)
Responsibilities and duties:
- Assisting residents with all of their ADL's (activities of daily living) including; dressing, dental hygiene, toileting and showering.
- Preparing for and assisting residents with meal times
- Medication administration
- Interaction/activities with residents
- General clean up and laundry

- Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor
- Genuine interest in working with and caring for the elderly
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team player
