Part-Time Evening HSE Teacher: Bilingual Support

Description

Provide individualized and small-group instruction in mathematics, reading, and writing to adult learners and out-of-school youth. Prepare students to successfully complete the New Jersey State High School Equivalency (HSE) examination and earn a New Jersey State High School Diploma. Provide bilingual instructional support in English and Spanish as needed to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certificate in any subject area (REQUIRED)
• Experience providing High School Equivalency (HSE), formerly GED, preparation and instruction preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Experience working with adult learners and/or out-of-school youth preferred
• Strong communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills

Hours

Monday and Wednesday 5:30 pm- 8:00 pm

September 16, 2026 - June 3, 2026

Salary

$49.00/per hour
