The Emergency Medical Technician provides patient care in accordance with KBEMS regulations and Sedgwick County EMS Protocols. Emergency Medical Technicians work to provide emergency care in accordance with protocol. EMT’s provide safe transportation to and from health care facilities, as well as transfer of care to persons with equal or higher level of care.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. State of Kansas EMT Certification. NREMT will be accepted until hire. Per Sedgwick County Policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid US driver’s license without restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in emergency medical Services.
