-Employment Job Type: Part-time
-Schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM, Thursday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM (19 hours weekly)
-Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00
Able to execute tasks in all weather conditions while working outdoors.
Ability to drive a golf cart but not required
Maintain and perform routine cleaning tasks, including the cleanliness of common areas within the building: Sweep, mop, dust, wipe down, and sanitize surfaces; empty trash receptacles/recycling bins and replace liners and transport waste/recycling to designated areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning requests
Clean glass surfaces, doors, and windows as needed
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, pressure wash and vacuums.
Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas, including food courts, entrances, hallways, and seating areas.
Rotate between assigned areas based on operational needs and coverage gaps
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and placement of warning signs (e.g., "Wet Floor")
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors
Assist with special cleaning projects or events as required
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn is essential.
Show the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
-High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
-Valid Hawaii driver's license and a reliable vehicle is preferred
-Must pass HBM prescreen check
-Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related fields preferred, but not required.
-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
-Strong public relations and communication skills
-Good manual dexterity for handling cleaning tools and equipment
-Ability to climb short ladders or step stools for light maintenance or cleaning.
-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (entire shift, often 6–8+ hours)
-Capable of performing basic manual labor, cleaning common areas, frequently lifting, pushing, pressing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. (up to 50 lbs.), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairways, using elevators, climbing ladders, and standing throughout shifts.
-Stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
