Job Description

Make a difference as a Psychotherapist with our Outpatient Clinic at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar! The psychotherapist provides diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and executes therapeutic treatment toward defined goals. The psychotherapist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy. In this role you will provide clinical interventions to patient, ages 12 years to geriatric.

Core responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient's needs, strengths, weaknesses through psychological assessments and social histories.
• Responsible to complete State of MN mandates assessments related to care and treatment.
• Establish collaborative treatment plans with goals and implements the patient's course of treatment with the physician and interdisciplinary team members.
• May provide primary case management services, including developing and coordinating discharge plans, safety plans, and alternative coping strategies.
• Facilitates nursing home referrals and placements coordinating with local county screening mechanisms.
• Completes documentation, including diagnostic or psychological assessments.

Schedule

• Full time | 80 hours every two weeks
• Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some flexibility
• Outpatient Clinic at CentraCare - Rice Memorial Hospital | Willmar MN
• Potential for some remote work, in addition to onsite work requirement

Pay and Benefits

• Psychotherapist starting pay begins at $87,272.64 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
• Salary range: $77,563.20 - $118,664.00 per year
• Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

• $6,000 hiring bonus for those hired into a Psychotherapist role (with current MN license of LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC)!

Qualifications (Psychotherapist level)

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.
• State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following:
• The Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or the Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) or the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or the Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Minimum of one-year experience required.
• Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.
