Nexus Children’s Hospital is a specialized pediatric hospital dedicated to bridging medical and behavioral healthcare for children and adolescents with complex needs. Our interdisciplinary teams provide compassionate, evidence-based care focused on improving outcomes for patients requiring medical, behavioral, and rehabilitative support in a safe and structured environment.
The Psychotherapist works directly with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide assessment and treatment of mental health concerns through individual, group, and family psychotherapy in accordance with established programming and individualized treatment plans for adolescents with co-occurring psychiatric and medical disorders.
This role collaborates closely with nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and behavioral health professionals within a specialized inpatient setting focused on pediatric behavioral health and rehabilitation services.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, and clinically strong with experience supporting adolescents with complex psychiatric, behavioral, and medical needs in an inpatient environment. This individual should thrive in a multidisciplinary setting and demonstrate strong communication, crisis intervention, and therapeutic relationship-building skills.
