Job Description

Ohel is seeking creative, compassionate, and dependable professionals to provide one-on-one Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) services to children with behavioral and mental health needs. Working under the supervision of a licensed clinician, you will work individually with children in their homes and communities, providing hands-on, strength--based support that promotes growth, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skill-building services focused on emotional regulation, communication, social skills, organization, time management, and problem-solving
  • Implement interventions outlined in each child's personalized treatment plan
  • Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage success and resilience
  • Complete timely and accurate session documentation
  • Participate in regular supervision and collaborate with an experienced treatment team

Requirements:

  • High School diploma plus two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs or Bachelor degree in Psychology, Human Services or a related field
  • Creative, energetic, and able to engage children through meaningful activities
  • Organized, reliable, and professional
  • Strong communicator with excellent English language skills

These are part time positions, with after school and weekend hours available. Locations include Brooklyn, Queens and Far Rockaway.

Salary: $25.00 per hour
