• Conduct comprehensive age-appropriate psychological assessments for adults and pediatric patients, covering cognitive, emotional, behavioral, personality, and adaptive functioning.
• Perform detailed diagnostic evaluations using standardized, validated psychological tools appropriate to developmental level, cultural context, and clinical presentation.
• Identify patients requiring advanced or specialized psychological assessment and coordinate referrals to appropriate licensed professionals when necessary.
• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, family therapy, play therapy, behavior therapy) tailored to the needs of adults, adolescents, and children.
• Conduct individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy as clinically indicated.
• Deliver health and behavior interventions to support coping, adjustment, emotional regulation, and adherence to medical rehabilitation programs.
• Identify and report any signs of clinical deterioration, neglect, or safeguarding concerns in accordance with organizational and DOH policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong therapeutic boundaries and ensure safe, ethical practice with both adults and children, respecting cultural and developmental needs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation planning, ensuring psychology goals contribute to overall patient recovery and quality of life.
• Participate actively in clinical and rehabilitation ward rounds, MDT meetings, and case conferences to support integrated, patient-centred care.
