Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) Clinic. The Clinic offers annualized, evidence-based social skills programming for youth and adults who are struggling socially. Primary duties include:

  • Evaluate and monitor symptoms, difficulties, and strengths/resources using interviews, questionnaires, andstandardized tests
  • Provide individual, group, and family treatment and intervention
  • Communicate recommendations to patients and families at program visits and in written reports
  • Provide care management and support


Please note, this is a limited appointment that may convert to career
Salary range:58.54/hr - $77.20/hr


Job Qualifications


PhD or PsyD in PsychologyValid CA Psychologist LicenseDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and scoring programs for assessment measures used in ADDPC/ADDCPrior experience developing intervention programs for child and adolescentsPrior experience managing behavior of individuals with psychiatric disorders across the life courseExtensive experience working with children and familiesExtensive training in a variety of psychological assessment measures Extensive knowledge of evidence-based interventions Extensive experience conducting behavioral analyses and implementing behavior intervention techniquesExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated organizational skills and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential patient information
