
The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. ISGlobal is seeking a psychologist with expertise on child psychology to join our young and dynamic team in child-health. The overall goal of the BiSC project ( https://www.projectebisc.org/) is to understand the effects of pre and postnatal exposure to air pollution on child brain development. Under the new funding that the BiSC project obtained through La Marató de TV3, a new follow-up at the age of 48 months of the children has been conducted and now we are starting the analytical and paper writing phase. Support the team’s neuropsychologist on performing the assessment, scoring, interpretation and analysis of several child development tests conducted within the project.

Bachelor’s Degree in psychology
Studies on child psychology, child neurodevelopment, behavior, neurosciences, or equivalents
Expertise in similar projects and duties.
Knowledge or previous experience on data analysis of standardized tests to evaluate child development such as Merril-Palmer, BRIEF-P, CBCL and other neurodevelopment tests
Previous experience in research
Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish written and spoken. English will be valued.
Contract: 7 months
Salary: According to ISGlobal internal salary scale
Work-Life Balance: 36 days off per year (23 vacation days + 13 personal days)

The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process.
