Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Our Department of Pediatrics is seeking to hire a Psychologist to join the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Program. The program offers ongoing follow up and treatment for children with a broad range of developmental and behavioral challenges, including behavioral problems, attentional problems, developmental delays, and language disorders. You will provide clinical services to children and young adults (age 0-21) Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conduct developmental evaluations and psychological testing
  • Provide parent and child education through evidence-based coaching programs
  • Provide psychotherapy services
  • Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
  • Provide consultation to interdisciplinary team members
  • Other clinical duties as assigned


Salary range: $122,231.52/yr - $161,193.60/yr


Job Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • Valid California Clinical Psychologist License
  • Knowledge of early childhood education or child development
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, situations, and procedures to define problems and formulate alternative solutions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to function independently and as a member of a interdisciplinary team
