Position: Psychologist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) - Wexford

Location: Gorey, County Wexford (Hybrid)

Role: Permanent

Salary: 55,000 - 110,000 per annum

RGH-Global are delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join a leading independent psychology practice, providing high-quality neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments across Ireland. This dynamic team delivers exceptional services to clients, including diagnostic assessments for children and adults, and works closely with public health services.



We are seeking qualified Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologists to join a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. This hybrid role, with some remote working options, covers regions in Southeast Ireland, including South Tipperary, Carlow/Kilkenny, Waterford, and Wexford. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for candidates at various experience levels, including senior roles.

You will conduct comprehensive specialist assessments for individuals with suspected neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, using established diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R. The role may also involve mental health assessments, report writing, and providing tailored recommendations and interventions. Depending on your experience, you may supervise and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic assessments for Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities using tools like ADOS-2 and ADI-R.

Write professional, timely assessment reports with appropriate recommendations.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Optionally, provide supervision and support to junior clinicians.

Qualifications & Experience

A recognised university degree or diploma (NQAI Level 8 equivalent) in psychology with first or second-class honours, where psychology was a major subject.

A postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland or validated by the Department of Health and Children.

Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.

Experience conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental assessments with children.

Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and relevant assessment tools for Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

ADOS-2 and ADI-R training (essential).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Experience in report writing and record-keeping.

Additional qualifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
