Job Description

Make a Real Impact as a Psychologist with Peninsula Plus

At Peninsula Plus, meaningful support starts with genuine connection. We're a multidisciplinary allied health team in Frankston, working across speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, and behaviour support — grounded in community, inclusion, integrity, innovation, empowerment, and connection.

We're looking for a psychologist who wants that vision to show up in their everyday work, not just on a values page.

Why Peninsula Plus

A team, not just a workplace. You'll work alongside people who take diversity and strengths-based practice seriously, and who back each other to grow.

Flexibility that's actually flexible. Shape your week across clinic, home, school, and community settings. Early starts or late ones — we care about the work getting done well, not when you clock in.

Learning built into the job. Clinical coaching, peer mentoring, and real professional development budget — not a once-a-year tick-box.

About the Role

You'll provide strengths-based support to children, young people, and adults across a range of settings, helping them reach their goals through assessment, therapy, and collaborative planning.

Day to day, that means:

  • Delivering neuroaffirming, evidence-informed assessments and interventions

  • Working with families, educators, and other professionals for continuity of care

  • Collaborating with our speech pathologists, OTs, allied health assistants, and other specialist therapists to build holistic supports

  • Contributing to group programs, clinical development, or community projects you're genuinely interested in

What You'll Bring

  • A recognised 4-year psychology qualification (Master's preferred, not essential)

  • AHPRA registration as a psychologist

  • A genuine interest in growth, reflection, and contributing to a team — not just a solo caseload

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle

What We Offer

  • Professional development and career coaching

  • Travel reimbursement and a laptop provided

  • A warm, values-driven team that means it

  • Flexible hours and varied caseloads to suit how you work best

Let's Grow Together

If you want a workplace that puts people first and values progress over perfection, we'd love to hear from you.

Peninsula Plus is committed to a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for our team and the community we serve.
