We are seeking a compassionate and experienced candidate for the role of Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Team. The Psychologist will provide behavioral health treatment for a wide-variety psychiatric disorders and help with all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, collaboration and consultations. A Psychologist's responsibilities include evaluating patients and gathering their history before diagnosing issues that need attention through the use of tests to develop a treatment plan to ensure the health and success of patients.

The Psychologist will interview patients and perform diagnostic tests to get a clearer idea of their mental health issues. Ultimately, you will provide individual treatment options for people to understand themselves better while helping others identify ways to change their behaviors and alleviate problems in their lives.

Psychologist Responsibilities:

• Use knowledge of psychological theory and practice.

What You Bring to Refuah:

• Valid NY state medical license and board certification
• Doctoral degree from an accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology
• Must have minimum one-year experience working as a psychologist
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Have strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Superior listening ability and emotional intelligence
