As our Psychiatry Physician, you will join a growing “privademics” practice, Touro University Medical Group and join the medical staff at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center. Touro is looking for a General/Adult Psychiatrist for our dedicated inpatient psychiatric facility and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for their outpatient clinic.

Every day you will provide expert clinical care, actively teaching and mentoring psychiatry residents and child psychiatry fellows as part of your faculty appointment through Touro University. You will also contribute significantly to shaping the next generation of mental health professionals. 7on/7off is the schedule for the General/Adult Psychiatrist that will cover St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center which is a 33 bed dedicated Psychiatric hospital. The census is generally split with another large healthcare organization making for manageable patient coverage. The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist can look forward to a Monday-Friday outpatient clinic schedule.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Psychiatry or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry physician with a passion for graduate medical education, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to inspiring and training future mental health professionals within a supportive academic environment.

We are offering a two-year base salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and a Monday through Friday schedule with no call constraints. New hires meeting eligibility requirements may also qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and receive CME opportunities. Academic appointment will be available through Touro University, California

Job Requirements

Required

• Board-eligible/Board-certified
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Psychiatry care principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
