Psychiatrist – Outpatient Behavioral Health

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This is a standard outpatient, Monday–Friday position focused on providing comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care.

The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing care while collaborating with primary care and behavioral health professionals. Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Standard outpatient schedule
• No weekends
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Primarily outpatient psychiatric care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
• Provide ongoing medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs
• Provide follow-up psychiatric care and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care
• Participate in a collaborative approach to improving patient outcomes

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible Florida medical license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
