St Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton is seeking interested psychiatrists to work in our Mood Disorders Inpatient Service and the Mood Disorders Treatment and Research Outpatient Clinic (MTRC).

At this time, we are seeking interested psychiatrists who could provide part-time and/or full-time support to this service. In this position you will:

·Manage a caseload of patients on a Mood Disorders inpatient unit.

·Manage a caseload of patients at the MTRC.

·Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team which includes nursing and allied staff.

·Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Ontario CPSO license and be a trained psychiatrist with FRCPC or equivalent. There will be an expectation that the physician will be eligible for a Faculty position with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University, and that they will have an interest and aptitude for teaching and/or clinical research.
