Job Title: Psychiatrist, Board Certified or Board Eligible
Location: Loma Linda, CA
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to provide care at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. This role supports veterans in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Manage medications and treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments
• Deliver psychotherapy and supportive care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Document care in accordance with VA standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted US medical license
• Completed accredited residency
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Schedule and Work Environment

• On-site at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• 40 hours per week

Compensation

• 165 to 185 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Consistent full-time hours
