Healing Haven is a multidisciplinary behavioral health organization supporting children and adolescents with autism and other developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs. Our teams include BCBAs, psychologists, SLPs, OTs, counselors, and other clinical professionals who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care.
Healing Haven is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric consultation and clinical collaboration for children and adolescents receiving ABA and other multidisciplinary services.
The Psychiatrist will serve as a consultative member of our clinical team, partnering with BCBAs and other providers on complex cases involving behavioral, emotional, developmental, and psychiatric concerns. This role may include case consultation, diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, medication-related consultation, and coordination with a client's existing medical providers.
This is a consultative role; the Psychiatrist will not be responsible for prescribing or managing medication for Healing Haven clients.
Join a collaborative clinical environment where your psychiatric expertise can help strengthen care for children and families while supporting a multidisciplinary team of experienced behavioral health professionals.

Healing Haven is a center-based autism therapy provider founded in 2010 by Jamie McGillivary, MS, LLP, BCBA, LBA. We are a team of professionals that have dedicated our lives to bettering the lives of families of children with special needs. We specialize in autism, though we are skilled at treating all children that have behavioral issues or challenges in the area of socialization, language and play.
Our one-of-a-kind therapy campus in Madison Heights, MI serves individuals from 2 years up to young adult across 4 large clinics, providing ABA, Speech & Occupational Therapies. Our clinic in Farmington Hills services children up to age 8 with ABA, Speech and Occupational Therapies. And our expansive Clinton Township serves children up to age 12.
We are “out of the box” thinkers when it comes to our treatment approach. We believe in listening to each family’s unique set of needs, and creating a plan that treats everyone in the family, all while meeting each person where they are at in their journey.
In addition to therapies, Healing Haven also provides developmental testing, assessments and autism evaluations for families seeking answers about their child's development. We also offer stress management and counseling services for families that have children with special needs. We provide opportunities to learn how to effectively manage their time, strengthen their relationships and live in a mindful fashion.
