GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position is part of the behavioral health clinical team. This position is responsible for the provision of psychiatric care to adult patients. This position serves as the supervising physician for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) providing behavioral health services. This position participates in quality improvement initiatives as assigned by the CMO.

Originally opened by Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center as an extension of its mission, it is now a patient-owned and operated organization serving more than 50,000 children and adults annually.
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas employs more than 700 professionals and support staff at 18 locations throughout Crawford, Cherokee, Labette, Linn, Montgomery, Allen and Bourbon counties, and Ottawa County in Oklahoma.
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors which includes patients and community representatives.
Medicare, Medicaid, KanCare and private insurance are accepted. Discounted rates for services are available for those meeting financial assistance guidelines. No-one is refused care due to inability to pay.
