Job Location Boise, ID 83704 Salary Range $23.28 - $23.28 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)

• Assist Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and executing nursing services.
• Responsible for maintaining quality patient care standards, including:
  • Training
  • Communication
  • Ensure documentation accuracy
• Oversee the operational expectations for the Psychiatric Technicians
• Create staff assignments; ensure tasks are completed
• Coordinate and manage Psychiatric Technician scheduling, including coverage adjustments as needed.
• Process and review Psychiatric Technician payroll for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Train and educate staff regarding current certification and development

• Share on-call responsibilities as part of the nursing administrative team, as assigned.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for Psychiatric Technicians and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Collect nursing shift assignment sheets and room safety checks; audit for completion; report finding to DNS
• Perform observation, inventory, and vital sign audits to ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist the Charge Nurse in daily activities to control the milieu

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma
• One (1) year of prior experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Successful completion of background check
• Tuberculosis screening

Preferred:

• Three (3) years of management experience with 1 of those years being in a hospital setting
