
University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking Psychiatric Nursing Assistants to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses.
Medicine Psychiatric Inpatient Unit (3BT):
This Unit is a 15-bed secure unit that serves adult patients who have acute physical illnesses in conjunction with an acute psychiatric disorder. 3BT is one of only a few such specialized medical/psychiatric units in the country.
Percent of Time: 50%
Schedule: 20 hours per week, rotating shift times, expected to work rotating holidays and every other weekend or the equivalent number of hours in 4-week schedule
Location: Boyd Tower (BT)
