
The Mental Health Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based nursing care to patients experiencing mental health disorders, psychiatric illnesses, emotional disturbances, and behavioral challenges. The role involves comprehensive assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, medication management, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support recovery and improve patient outcomes.
The Mental Health Nurse works within inpatient psychiatric units, consultation-liaison psychiatry services, emergency psychiatry, outpatient behavioral health clinics, and specialized mental health programs in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional nursing standards.
