
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Samaritan Daytop Village is a leading human services organization in New York State serving over 38,000 New Yorkers annually across more than 60 locations through Transitional Housing, Community Based Services, and Residential and Outpatient programs. First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC), operated by Samaritan Daytop Village in Rockland County, is a 24/7 program dually licensed by OMH and OASAS to provide rapid, short-term support for children ages 5+ and adults in mental health or substance use crisis. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with long-term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits.
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide advanced psychiatric care, including evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for individuals in crisis. Working within a 24/7 multidisciplinary team, you will manage integrated care for co-occurring disorders and provide essential interventions in an acute behavioral health setting. This role involves close collaboration with medical and clinical providers to deliver trauma-informed, recovery-oriented treatment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to apply high-level clinical expertise to help patients navigate mental health and substance use emergencies.
Additional Information
This is a full-time exempt role with an annual salary of $150,000-$169,744 with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement.
