Location: New Rochelle, NY

Temporary Per Diem Position- 2 to 3 days weekly (no weekends)

545 am to 145 pm

Rate of Pay: $100

Must have substance use experience

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry for temp per diem role in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program. In this role you will manage medical and psychiatric interventions for individuals with opioid and other substance use disorders, overseeing methadone maintenance and induction protocols.

OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Assess participants utilizing the Clinical Component,
  • Provide medical services (medication assessment, lab work, prescriptions, etc.)
  • Coordinate and collaborate with medical providers (primary care physicians, specialists, etc.), crisis assessment and management (behavioral and medical)
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Provide education to individuals, their families and other service providers, as well as to staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Nurse Practitioner License
  • Experience with adults in Mental Health field
  • Available to work a flexible schedule a MUST
  • Responsible for all documentation requirements per OMH regulations and agency policy
  • Will have Collaborative Agreement with the Medical Director
