The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner utilizes nursing arts and sciences, education,medical,psychosocialandculturaltheoriestofacilitateandtoprovidethe delivery of direct clinical care for a high-risk adult population. The position reports to the Assistant Medical Director and is co-supervised by the ARTS Manager of Mental Health Services. The position will provide psychiatric care to the outpatient substance dependent, mentally ill, or co-occurring disordered patients; evaluations, prescription administration and maintenance, and ongoing clinical consultation with the clinical treatment team. This position will also conduct medical evaluations for individuals seeking medication assisted treatment, as well as follow-up medical services. This role works independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient management, education and continuity of care.

oCardiovascularassessmentfortheriskofTorsadesde Pointe.
·ProvideoversightofNursePractitioner students.
·Participateandcollaborateongrant-fundedprojectsforprioritypopulations, including pregnant women and women with young children.
·Otherdutiesas assigned.
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in the Denver Metro Area, where we have 5 clinics.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Instructor:
·1-3yearsofrelatedclinicalexperienceatrankorequivalent experience.
·Minimumdegreequalifications:Selectthecredentialsthat apply
NP/APN:
·PossessvalidNursePractitioner licensurein Colorado
·EligibleandwillingtohavePrescriptiveAuthority, including a valid RXN for Nurse Practitioners
·BasicLifeSupport(BLS) certification
·Current Mid-LevelExemption (MLE) status from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) or ability to obtain MLE.
